Article 24, clause 1 of Ukraine's 'Law on Joint Stock Companies' requires public companies to be registered at a minimum on one stock exchange in Ukraine. The keeping of shares on the list of every listing level is dependent on conditions set out in section IV 'Information on stock exchange operations.' In particular, the conditions stipulate a minimum number and average value of transactions with the issuer's securities that must be conducted within a 6-month period.

Transacting in securities on stock exchanges requires one to hold a license, therefore issuers should seek the help of licensed professional traders.
